Hi there!
Well…throughout my career, I have worn many hats - yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer, personal trainer, and chronic pain educator, to name a few. I’ve poured my heart and soul into each role, determined to empower others to take control of their health and find balance in mind, body, and spirit. Yet, despite my dedication and expertise, there was always a lingering sense of frustration, a nagging feeling that something was missing. I watched my clients succeed, while I continued getting sicker…
Then, everything changed. After a decade of searching for answers, I finally received a diagnosis that explained the source of my own pain and challenges: hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS). In that moment, a flood of emotions washed over me - relief, validation, grief, forgiveness, and a newfound sense of clarity. Suddenly, everything clicked into place, and I understood why my body had always felt different, why my joints seemed to betray me, why I had spent so many years searching for answers in vain.
But amidst the whirlwind of emotions, there was one overwhelming feeling: excitement. Excitement for the journey ahead, for the opportunity to share my newfound knowledge and expertise with others who may be facing similar struggles. Excitement to use my platform in the wellness industry to raise awareness about hEDS, to advocate for greater understanding and support for those living with invisible illnesses.
Now, armed with a deeper understanding of my own body and a renewed sense of purpose, I’m ready to embark on a new chapter in this wellness journey. I’m determined to blend my passion for fostering healing in others with my newfound insights into hEDS, creating a safe and inclusive space where individuals of all abilities can thrive. Through education, empowerment, and compassionate support, I’m committed to making a difference - one heart, one soul, one rep at a time!
Thanks for reading,
